Cleaning Protocols

Sleeping Rooms

Cleanliness is at the forefront of our commitment to guest comfort. In an effort to minimize exposure to both employees and guests, recently occupied rooms will have a predetermined window of zero activity after check-out. Housekeeping will then follow a three step process to clean and disinfect sleeping rooms.

  1. After each predetermined amount of time has elapsed, each room will be sanitized with EvaClean’s Protexus Electronic sprayer, cleaning up to four times the amount of surface area than traditional cleaning methods.
  2. Housekeeping will then use a preset checklist with the focus of disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as:
    • Door handles
    • Countertops
    • Light switches
    • Phone handsets
    • Remotes
  3. As a final step, housekeeping supervisors will inspect each room before releasing for reservation. 

Public Spaces

The following public spaces will be cleaned twice daily with mopping and surface sanitization:

    • Front Desk
    • Dining Spaces
    • Restrooms
    • Vehicles
    • Grill Room 
    • Meeting Rooms
    • Billiard Room 
    • Staff Spaces
    • Mews Keeping Room 
    • Mews Public Spaces
    • Exercise Area
    • Management Offices
    • Gardener’s Cottage
    • Bernard Cottage

Every Monday and Friday spaces will also be sanitized with Evaclean’s electronic sprayer. During the sanitization process, employees are required to wear face coverings and gloves.
