Food & Beverage Policies

Food service modifications have been implemented at Graylyn during the pandemic. Unfortunately, our complimentary full service breakfast buffet will not be available, and additional self-serve components of our offerings will be modified. We have implemented the following in our food service and kitchen practices: 

  • Buffets have been eliminated; stations with an attendant for serving are being substituted. Stations are equipped with hand sanitizer and sneeze guards. 

  • We will continue to offer our complimentary breakfast delivered to the privacy and comfort of each guest room. 

  • To minimize server interactions, all plated meals are delivered with plate covers with preset salads, desserts and beverages with cup covers.

  • Room service is available by preorder only and is delivered on a tray with plate and beverage covers to the door of the guest room. Servers will remain six feet away and ask guests to bring their tray into the room. Once finished, guests will place the tray outside their room and call for pickup.

  • The Grille Room will continue to operate from 5-9 pm, and will serve beverages with a select premade meal offering. Service is only available at the bar; a sneeze guard and six-foot floor markings for waiting patrons have been added. The bartender is required to wear a face covering. 

Kitchen Practices

  • All employees are trained on the importance and expectation of increased hygiene practices. 

  • Employees are required at all times to wear face coverings that are replaced or cleaned daily. 

  • Where possible, workplaces will be stationed at six-foot intervals. All surfaces will be sanitized every hour. 

  • Each manager will have a Food Safety Manager certification.

  • Regular cleaning and sanitization of high touch areas by both employees and patrons will include: 

    • Tables and table condiments
    • Digital ordering devices
    • Check presenters
    • Self-service areas
    • Chair backs
