Cleaning Protocols

Sleeping Rooms

Cleanliness is at the core of our commitment to guest comfort. In an effort to minimize potential virus exposure to both employees and guests, recently occupied guest rooms will have a predetermined window of zero activity following a guest’s check-out. Housekeeping staff will then follow a three-step process to clean and disinfect sleeping rooms.

  1. After each predetermined amount of time has elapsed, each room will be sanitized with EvaClean’s Protexus Electronic sprayer, cleaning up to four times the amount of surface area than traditional cleaning methods.
  2. Housekeeping will then use a preset checklist with the focus of disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as:
    • Door handles
    • Countertops
    • Light switches
    • Phone handsets
    • Remotes
    • Drawer knobs
    • Bath fixture controls
  3. As a final step, housekeeping supervisors will inspect each room before releasing it for reservation.
